Construction of Mehrad Hospital began from 1352 in Tehran's Miremad Street in an area of 5000 square meters. The hospital's construction and equipment were completed in 1361 and the hospital was officially put into operation since October 18, 1961.

Mehrad Hospital now has a 200-bed license as a private hospital in the 7th district of Tehran.
